TWO EUROBIKE AWARDS 2010

At the 2010 Eurobikeshow, Axa has been awarded with two Eurobike Awards for its innovative products. The seal EUROBIKE AWARD is given for particularly innovative design and above-average product quality.

The first award is given to the AXA Fusion, the next step in bicycle security, and the first real integrated frame lock. The Fusion consists of base part which is welded into the frame at a frame builder and 2 lock cassettes which can be inserted at the assembly line and replaced in a bicycle shop. The Fusion can be fully matched with the colours of each bicycle. To secure the bike to the fixed world, a plug-in chain can be inserted into the Fusion. The second award is for our Nano Plus. With its Intelligentbeam technology, the Nano is the next step in vision and visibility. A cyclist has a focus point two seconds in front of him. In these seconds, the cyclist can avoid a hole in the road or brake. Regular lamps have only one focus point. With Intelligentbeam the focus point is adjusted farther away for a cyclist moving at high speed and closer by for a cyclist moving at low speed. Intelligentbeam automatically switches on two additional LEDs for close-proximity illumination when moving slowly. Always the right light at the right speed! The Nano also has an integrated USB connector to charge a mobile phone, MP3 or navigation equipment.

ADDITIONS TO AXA COLORS

Last year Axa has started with its Axa Colors assortment, known products in bright colors. The Solid, MiGG and Zipp in purple, pink , green and blue color have brightened many bicycle stores. This fall season Axa has extended the Axa Color assortment with the Defender, Plug-in chain 100 cm and the Clinch 85cm. These products will be available in a combi box with all four colors or in a box with a single color.
